iJobo FAQs
What is iJobo?
iJobo is a program that records the activity performed by an employee in order to analyze data associated with the employee’s performance and working intensity, as well as detailing which applications have been used, URLs that have been visited, and “inactive” periods during working hours.
How does iJobo help to my company productivity or even to my own productivity?
Work performance statistics and studies objectively show that the productivity of companies increase more than 70% when employees are aware of their work quality and believe that they are being evaluated in a daily basis. iJobo shows all the necessary data regarding effectiveness and intensity so that each employee and manager is acquainted with and can improve their productivity.
What security does my data have?
Each employee’s data are encrypted by means of a 512-bit algorithmic system that can only be understood by applications of the employee to whom they belong and by the applications of the person to whom the employee responds. Therefore they remain illegible in the server where they are stored to avoid any possible intrusion.
Does iJobo spy on employees?
DEFINITELY, not! iJobo has been designed so that each user can get acquainted with pertinent information with regard to how their time is invested and how they can become more productive. It is NOT a program that can be run without the user’s permission to record their work. User may decide when and how iJobo records their activity.
Which is the data that iJobo uses to know the productivity of my task force?
What data does iJobo use to analyze the productivity of my work force?
iJobo analyzes the work time, registers the software being used, calculates the work intensity, stores the websites visited, controls the inactivity time and the progress of projects being developed.
How does iJobo interact with the user?
Each user may choose when iJobo is to record their activity by simply pressing the Start/Stop Session button. Users may also decide whether their keystrokes should be captured and whether the log file should contain literal or obfuscated text.
How does iJobo differentiate the working time without computer, for example the meetings?
When a user runs iJobo, the program monitors the running time. Upon starting work tasks, the “Start Session” button is pressed. Once tasks are completed, the “Stop Session” button is pressed to stop recording. iJobo records all idle or unjustified time, which the user specifies how that time was spent.
How does iJobo know when and on what I am working if I have dozens of open windows?
iJobo is designed to differentiate the program or web site with which users are working, that is to say, the one that registers activity, from the rest of open applications which are inactive. iJobo will show a summary of the active running time, the time slots of computer use and the keystrokes registry of each of them, among other activities.
